Thank you, TailHunter, for helping poor kids in La Paz!
Fundación Ayuda Niños La Paz, A.C. (FANLAP) is a terrific La Paz-based nonprofit organization that provides food and education for children from impoverished areas, giving them the opportunity to further their education and improve the quality of their lives.
While volunteering FANLAP, I learned about Pack for a Purpose, another wonderful nonprofit that supports FANLAP’s work. Pack for a Purpose makes it easy for people from the U.S. to bring school supplies, sports equipment, and other goods to the places they’re traveling. For fishermen who come to Baja with empty coolers, it’s an easy way to give back to the community.
In La Paz, Jill at TailHunter coordinates delivery and distribution of donated Pack for a Purpose materials, and FANLAP is among the important beneficiaries.
