Archipelago Productions, multimedia publisher (division of Harcourt Brace) that developed new products for distance learning markets. DeLapa conducted market research and organized an academic advisory board for the company.

Alternative Newsmedia Foundation (ANF), the sister nonprofit to Association of Alternative Newsmedia. ANF is the dedicated to promoting independent journalism through free speech initiatives, story-sharing projects, and diversity programs. DeLapa led development of a strategic plan to fund and expand the Foundation’s influence.

Frans Lanting Photography, one of the world’s foremost wildlife photographers. DeLapa manages fundraising, development, promotions, and strategic relationships on the LIFE: A Journey Through Time Project, a multimedia musical performance, traveling indoor exhibition, outdoor exhbition, website, book, and lecture series. Previously, DeLapa helped implement a new accounting system and recruit a new general manager for the business.

Mal Warwick Associates/Donordigital, a leading consulting firm that develops and manages direct response fundraising campaigns for nonprofit and progressive organizations. DeLapa facilitates executive retreats, advises the company on corporate strategy, and supports the CEO in making operational decisions.

New Leaf Paper, the leading national source for environmentally responsible, economically sound paper. DeLapa served as Interim Chief Operating Officer, leading the search for a permanent President/Chief Operating Officer, coaching the CEO, and helping drive the company to profitability.

Sea Studios, a full-service production company that specializes in natural history video, television and multimedia programs. As general manager, DeLapa developed and pitched film proposals and budgets. He was also the lead management consultant on The Shape of Life, an eight-hour, $11 million natural history television series for National Geographic Television.
